- 25 oz. frozen ravioli – do not thaw, (i use 5 cheese)
- 1 lb. ground beef, (can use mild sausage)
- 1 cup white onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried leaf oregano, (not ground)
- 24 oz. marinara sauce, (i use rao's)
- 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese, (2 cups)
Instructions
- Heat a medium-sized non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef and diced onion. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Cook until browned, keeping some liquid for moisture.
- Spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Top with the entire ground beef mixture.
- Add the remaining ravioli on top of the beef.
- Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, you can substitute ground beef with mild sausage or a blend of meats.
Feel free to use different flavors of ravioli to customize the dish to your liking.
