Ingredients
Scale
- 20 glazed donut holes
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- 10–20 pretzel sticks
- ¾ cup chocolate jimmies sprinkles
Instructions
- If your pretzel sticks are long, snap them in half so you only need 10 instead of 20.
- Melt chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl, using 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth and glossy.
- Pour chocolate sprinkles into a separate small bowl and set it nearby.
- Dip the top of each donut hole into the melted chocolate to coat, scraping off excess on the edge of the bowl. Immediately dip into sprinkles.
- Gently press a pretzel stick into the chocolatey end of the donut hole to create the acorn stem without knocking off the sprinkles.
- Place each donut hole on a parchment-lined tray and repeat the process.
- Chill in the fridge or freezer for 5 minutes to set the chocolate, or enjoy them right away while they are still melty.
Notes
If you like, try using different colored sprinkles for a festive touch.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a day before the sprinkles lose their crunch.
