Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cracked pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and cracked pepper. Sprinkle over the chicken and mix well to ensure even coating.
- Spritz the air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Arrange the chicken in a single layer, ensuring space between pieces for crispiness. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry the chicken for 8 minutes, shaking the basket gently halfway through. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, ensure chicken pieces are not overcrowded in the basket.
Feel free to adjust the seasoning to suit your taste preferences.
These chicken bites are great for meal prep and can be stored for a few days.
