- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon table salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cut a circle of parchment paper for a 9-inch springform cake pan and spray the sides with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, and melted butter to form a mixture that resembles wet sand. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. After removing it from the oven, reduce the temperature to 325°F.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, add caramel sauce on top before serving.
Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth filling.
Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before removing it from the springform pan.
