  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt, plus more to season the chicken
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper, plus more to season chicken
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped, plus more for garnish
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Arrange the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh basil.
  4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the cream mixture and fold gently to combine.
  5. Spoon the mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well covered.
  6. Bake the chicken for 30-40 minutes until no longer pink inside, depending on thickness.
