  • Yield: 9 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9 x 9 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, sugar, flour, lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and water, stirring until the mixture thickens.

Make sure to let it cool slightly before serving to enhance the flavors.
You can substitute frozen blueberries if fresh ones are not available.
