Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 (5-oz) can water chestnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
Instructions
- Place ground pork in the slow cooker and crumble it using a spatula or wooden spoon.
- In a separate bowl or measuring cup, combine the other ingredients together.
- Pour the mixture over the ground pork in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours, or on low for 6-8 hours, until the pork is cooked thoroughly and no longer pink.
- Stir the mixture to break it up and combine all the ingredients well.
- Serve the pork filling on lettuce leaves.
Notes
For added crunch, consider including shredded carrots or diced peppers in the filling.
Adjust the chili garlic sauce according to your heat preference.
These wraps are also suitable for meal prep; just store the filling separately from the lettuce to keep it fresh.
