Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ounce box Strawberry Jell-O gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup vodka
- 12 gummy eyeball candies
Instructions
- In a large bowl with a pour spout, combine the strawberry gelatin and boiling water. Whisk until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
- Mix in the cold water and vodka until combined.
- Place 12 (2 ounce) jello shot cups on a rimmed tray to prevent spills. Carefully pour the jello mixture into each cup, filling to just below the top rim, around ⅛ inch from the edge.
- Refrigerate the jello shots for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until they are partially set and firm. Place a gummy eyeball on top of each shot.
- Return the tray to the refrigerator for an additional 1.5 hours or overnight until fully set. Once set, you can add lids to the cups for storage.
Notes
Ensure the gelatin is well dissolved before adding cold water and vodka.
Use a tray with edges to catch any spills while transferring to the fridge.
These shots can be made a day in advance for convenience.
