Ingredients
Scale
- 8 cups popcorn, popped
- 3 cups bugles
- 3 cups pretzels
- 1 cup dry roasted peanuts
- 1 cup m&m's, fall or halloween colors
- 1 cup candy corn
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the popped popcorn, Bugles, pretzels, and peanuts, then set aside.
- For the syrup, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, butter, baking soda, cinnamon, and ginger in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring often until the mixture reaches a rapid boil and 235 degrees F.
- Once the syrup is ready, remove it from heat, stir in vanilla, and pour it over the popcorn mixture. Gently stir to coat.
- Spread the mixture onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased with nonstick spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 7-8 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Let the mix cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, break into smaller pieces, return to a bowl, and mix in M&M's and candy corn.
- Serve in a large bowl or individual cups. Store in an airtight container for 3-5 days.
Notes
