Enjoy the comforting taste of Old Fashioned Slow Cooker Beef and Noodles, featuring tender chuck roast simmered to perfection with flavorful broth and creamy noodles—ideal for a quick dinner or filling comfort food.

  • Total Time: 8 hours 45 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon herb and garlic seasoning
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch whisked with an equal amount of water
  • 16 oz reames noodles
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Season the chuck roast and place it in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the beef broth, cover, and cook on low for at least 8 hours, or until the roast becomes fork-tender.
  3. Once tender, shred the beef and add the cornstarch slurry, reames noodles, and heavy cream to the slow cooker.
  4. Switch the slow cooker to high heat, cover, and cook for an additional 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are cooked and the sauce has thickened.

Notes

You can adjust the seasoning to taste by adding more herbs if preferred.
For a thicker sauce, let the cornstarch slurry cook a bit longer in the slow cooker.
