This peach cobbler is a delightful blend of fresh peach slices and buttery crust. With its juicy filling and golden crust, it’s a must-have dessert for gatherings or a cozy family dinner. Enjoy it warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh peach slices, peeled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the sugar melts.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the prepared baking dish without stirring it in.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth. Pour this mixture into the pan over the butter, leaving it unstirred.
  5. Spoon the peaches evenly over the batter, allowing some juice to mix in. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake the cobbler in the preheated oven for 38-42 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly before serving warm, ideally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, use ripe peaches.
Serve with ice cream for a classic dessert experience.
