- 24 oz. Raw peanuts in shells
- ½ cup sea salt
- 12 cups water
Instructions
- Pick through the peanuts, discarding any broken shells and wash them thoroughly.
- Place the cleaned peanuts in the slow cooker with the sea salt.
- Add enough water to cover the peanuts by at least two inches, but avoid overfilling.
- Cook on high for 5-7 hours, testing for softness at the 5 hour mark. Cook longer if peanuts are still crunchy.
Notes
Peanuts are best enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Feel free to adjust salt based on personal preference.
