- 4 oz package cooked bacon chopped
- ½ small yellow onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Wash and dry the collard greens thoroughly.
- Carefully remove the stems using a sharp knife.
- Loosely roll the greens and slice them into thick ribbons.
- Add the greens to the slow cooker along with the other ingredients.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
