This Slow Cooker Peach Butter features sweet, ripe peaches blended with cinnamon and sugar, creating a flavorful spread that’s easy to make and irresistible. Ideal for toast, pancakes, or as a filling for desserts, this recipe simplifies the process while delivering homemade goodness.

  • Total Time: 8 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 15 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs. peaches, sliced, quartered, and pits removed
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 24 Tbsp. brown sugar, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice and quarter the peaches, discarding the pits.
  2. Blend the peach slices in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  3. Transfer the peach purée to the slow cooker and mix in the ground cinnamon.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours without opening the lid.
  5. After cooking, slowly add brown sugar to taste.
  6. If the butter is too thin, leave the lid off for 30 minutes to an hour to thicken.
  7. The peach butter should be a rich, deep orange-brown and smooth in texture.
  8. Optionally, blend once more after cooking for extra smoothness.

Notes

Adjust the amount of brown sugar based on your sweetness preference.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
This can also be used as a filling for pastries or as a topping for yogurt.
