Ingredients
- 2 lbs. cheap steaks – such as petite sirloins
- 2 white or yellow onions, cut into circles
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 0.70 oz. Italian dressing mix packet
- 0.87 oz. brown gravy mix
- 1 ½ cups water
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Instructions
- Place the steaks in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the onions and garlic over the steaks.
- In a small bowl, combine the gravy mix, Italian dressing mix, cornstarch, and water, whisking until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the steaks in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours until the steak is tender.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
For added flavor, consider marinating the steaks in the Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking.
Feel free to add vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms for a complete meal.
