- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
- 15 ounces black beans drained and rinsed
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 jalapeño peppers seeded and diced
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker.
- Cover and set to cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.
Notes
For added heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
You can substitute black beans with kidney beans if preferred.
